Our sweet Nala may have only been with us for four short months, but in that little bit of time, she filled our home and our hearts with a lifetime of love.
Nala was a tiny girl with such a big place in our family. She loved cuddles, catnip, and of course, all the yummy treats she could get. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her beloved brothers, Loki and Jeff, cuddled together on the kitchen chair in front of the window, watching the world go by.
She was deeply loved by her mommy Aly, Gamal, Paw Paw, her aunt, her uncles, and everyone lucky enough to know her. She wasn’t simply a kitten—she was family.
Our time with Nala was far too short, but the length of time we had with her could never measure the amount of love we felt for her. Losing her after four months doesn’t make our hearts hurt any less than if we’d been blessed with her for many years. Sometimes the smallest paws leave the biggest footprints on our hearts.
On September 19, 2026, we had to say goodbye to a little soul we weren’t ready to let go of. Our home will feel different without her cuddles, her sweet little face, and her special place beside Loki and Jeff.
Nala, you were our favorite hello and our hardest goodbye.
Run free, sweet girl. May there always be a sunny window to lie in, endless treats and catnip, and the warmest place to curl up and sleep. Until we meet again, you will be loved, missed, and carried in our hearts forever. 🐾🌈
