Bailey, (also known as *BEAN!* or Bailey Bean) was put to rest today 06/14/2026 She was the world’s friendliest dog and extremely gentle when she needed to be (like when mothering a duckling or kitten) but she was strong and Brave enough to take on the “man eating rabbits” outside of our picture window. Bailey knew when her person was close to home and ALWAYS let the whole household know long before anyone else. Bailey grew up alongside a human who was more like a littermate sister and they would fight over whatever they were sleeping on at the time. Sometimes Bailey won by kicking her human sister completely off the bed/couch/camper bunk ect. Bailey was very popular among close family, extended family, and friends. We never met anyone who did not like her. Bailey also helped as a therapy dog in her younger years.
She leaves behind a whole farm full of animals that knew and also loved her but she will be especially missed by the other 2 dogs in the household.
As Bailey’s special person writing this…. She will be greatly missed and stories of how she was the worst puppy but the best dog will always be shared. I am lost without my friend sounding the alarm and taking up most of the bed. I am not sure who Lucky will now torment and I know that I will never look out the kitchen windows the same because I will expect to see her laying in the sun on her back, spread eagle for the world. She will be greatly missed
Good Girl Bailey, tell Tail we all said hello.
